In the annals of History of Nepal, Lichhavi era is always described as the Golden era of Art. It is because some of the greatest Nepali Stone sculptures are attributed to this period. And to this day, it all stands as the proud embodiment of the past glory – also underlining the importance of the great art, since then in Nepal. And over the years, to this date, the tradition of the stone art continues to shine – albeit now in more board manifestation – traditional to comtemporary.
